This concept dog shop is taking place during London’s Designs Festival and promises pet-themed features and items for those whose dogs enjoy a lifestyle that is an extension of their own.
Celebrating all things dog, and in association with contemporary dog-centric magazine Four & Sons, a wall of postcards will exhibit the creative work of 50 different artists to help raise money and awareness for the WECare Sri Lanka charity that helps care for Sri Lankan street dogs. With photography from the likes of interior-loving Nicole England of @Resident.dog and personality-catching @thegregmurray to illustrators Walter Glassof of @walter_dogs and @susumukamijo, there will be something to appeal to all kinds of dog and design lovers. A complete book of all the postcards will be available to purchase with profits from each sale being donated to the charity, and visitors will be encouraged to take postcards of their choice from the wall in exchange for a token donation.
Florist Emily Ayres from Design by Nature is also working on a floral-inspired in-store dog sculpture, which will be taking pride of place during the 10-day popup.
We will also have a carefully curated section of our Fetch & Follow products available to purchase along with special items from our friends at MALIN+GOETZ, and a couple of additional surprises.
To celebrate the opening of the Dogs + Design popup, we will be offering cocktails, refreshments and nibbles throughout the day on Friday 14 September.
