The Hoxton

The Hoxton’s newest location is just a short stroll from the South Bank’s theatres, galleries and food markets. Like their other London locations, the Southwark hotel is dog-friendly – they even supply you with a Fetch & Follow dog bed for your four-legged friend to enjoy during their stay. Dogs are also allowed in the lobby and bar area if you just fancy enjoying some refreshments after a long walk.

Southbank Centre food market

If you’ve decided to take a stroll along the river, why not pop along to the Southbank Centre food market, which offers fantastic street food and a great range of beers, wines, cocktails, plus delicious coffee, treats and sweets. The stallholders are committed to providing food bursting with fresh, vibrant flavours from across the globe so there is something for everyone. Perfect for grabbing a snack to enjoy while taking in the views across the Thames with the dog.

The Table Cafe

Close to the Tate Modern, this small restaurant selling sandwiches and salads has grown into a thriving business. It has a diverse menu centred on impeccable quality and sustainable resourcing. Opening just as you need your first cup of coffee, and closing long after the last of those essential after-work drinks have been sipped, the restaurant strives to make sure that customers feel part of the Table community, seven days a week. Food is sourced from British suppliers with the menu supporting homeless charity, St Mungo’s.

The Green Room

The Green Room is a neighbourhood diner, bar and garden serving delicious, ethically-sourced British food. It’s a unique collaboration between the National Theatre and local social enterprise Coin Street Community Builders. The airy, contemporary space features props and scenery recycled from National Theatre shows, surrounded by an urban oasis: a sustainable garden designed and maintained by the Bankside Open Spaces Trust with volunteers from the theatre and local area. They are proud to be dog-friendly and there is plenty of room for dogs either sitting inside or out.
